Effingham Public Library Hosts Local Artist Danielle Ruholl
The work of local artist Danielle Ruholl will be on display in the art gallery at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library through June 27.
Ruholl, a native of Arcola, has been painting for about 20 years. She moved to Effingham in 2008 and, in 2019, she began working with an experienced artist who showed her the wet-on-wet oil painting technique known as alla prima.
As a wife and mother of five, Ruholl paints and shows her art at area vendor events in her spare time. And when she’s not parenting or painting, you might find her serving customers at Little Caesars Pizza.
The art exhibit is free and a library card is not required to view the exhibit.
