Effingham Public Library is pleased to welcome local artists, Tytia Habing, Abby Hartke, and Liz Jackson.
As part of a state-wide campaign, these three artists were commissioned by the Art Alliance of Illinois to create art that promotes COVID-19 vaccinations.
The artists all chose to work in a digital format and released their work on their Instagram pages in mid-July.
Tytia’s work is themed: Who are You Getting Vaccinated for? Abby approached the project with a “Rosie the Riveter” look and feel while Liz used the theme “Return to Your Passions” – which highlights young women going back to coffee shops, bookstores—returning to what they enjoy.
Artwork will be displayed in the Art Gallery until August 27.
