Winter Reading Program 2026

Reading Warms the Heart! We encourage readers of all ages to challenge themselves to get cozy this winter. From Feb. 1-Feb. 28th, Effingham Public Library is participating in “Reading Warms the Heart.” Log your reading to earn badges on your virtual bingo card! We challenge our community to read at least 2 books during the challenge. For logging activities, you will earn fun, new badges. And don’t forget to earn bingo!

Registration begins on Tuesday, January 20.

Prizes:

*Everyone can enter the drawing after their first “bingo” (connection of 4 activities in a line)

Each additional bingo = more drawing entries.

Prize-Certificates to local businesses

  • 2 winners- Thunder Lanes pizza and arcade – kids
  • 2 winners- Thunder Lanes pizza and arcade- Teens
  • 1 winner- Gabby Goat for adults-$25

Winners will be announced March 4th

Last day to pick up prizes: March 7th
